This piece is an alternative way to view the strength in black men. It is an attempt to shed light on the delicate inner workings of men that are often depicted as aggressive, intimidating, and inhuman. There is a vulnerable side to black men that society doesn't permit us to see. In art and literature flowers are often used to symbolize virtue, peace, god, natural processes, life and death. This is what I see in black men.
Showing flowers and a Man in an image has an interesting effect, showing a softer side to masculine energy.
